I went to visit the curated exhibition Adorn at Colchester Castle starting from 27/07/2019 - 16/02/2020. The show explores the hidden stories of personal adornment, from Bronze Age beginnings to modern makers. On loan are several pieces of my jewellery along side five other jewellers, all chosen because of our connection to Essex. Featured are Colchester artefacts, and loans from other museums. My work will fits in really well with the overall theme of personal adornment through history. I had the privilege of being invited for two days in November to sell my jewellery range at a private Christmas shopping event at Clarence House, the official London residence of HRH The Prince of Wales. The purpose of the event was to raise money for the Prince of Wales Charitable Foundation, established in 1979 to help young people, the arts, and the environment.
